Fluid Mechanics Laboratory which is one of the facilities owned by the Department of Environmental Engineering to support the Fluid Mechanics course. Fluid mechanics is one of the courses in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Trisakti University which is divided into 2 semesters, namely Fluid Mechanics I in Odd Semesters and Fluid Mechanics II in Even Semesters.
The aims of the course are:
- Provide basic fluid mechanics skills/knowledge with an emphasis on basic physical concepts and details of fluid flow mechanics;
- Provide the ability to be able to master the hydraulic calculations of water structures and other facilities in the field of Environmental Engineering.
The existence of a Fluid Mechanics Laboratory is expected to increase students’ knowledge of the actual conditions in the field, even on a laboratory scale. So that the mathematical equations obtained during lectures are more understandable because students know how to obtain these equations and not just memorize them.
